Hello again!

Well, it's certainly time for an update. Today we're shining the old spotlight on The Nature Conservancy, NC chapter.

If preserving and protecting the environment is your passion, look no further. The Nature Conservancy offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for North Carolinians.

The Rundown: Volunteers may do field work such as conservation projects (planting trees, etc.), doing plant/animal inventories, and general clean up.  Fire program projects include prescribed burning (classroom and hands on training, fitness test required), pre/post burn work, and research. For those who want to give their time in a different way, general office work is also apparently available.
